Dat is een ding wat zeker is
Inmiddels heb ik een reactie gekregen van Dynaudio , dat het zo ontworpen is dat je de luidsprekers gewoon direct op de Spikes plaatst ,die je in de Top plate kunt schroeven
By using the top spikes the pins of the spikes SHOULD pierce the Audience 52 SE cabinet in order to give a tight fix with lowest resonance. The very small contact area with high contact pressure improves the speakers' sound precision. Apart from four tiny holes in the outer layer of the wood veneer nothing will be damaged – the Dynaudio cabinet quality is very high and there will be no cracks nor will the cabinet sink any deeper over time.
However if you do not want to pierce the wood veneer there is an alternative which sounds almost as good. It depends on what's available in your country, but there is a fixing mass called Blu Tack by Bostik (or White Tack by WHSmith in the UK, or Pritt MultiFix in Germany). This is no glue and no double-sided tape, but a sort of clay / plasticine which is completely removable. Form four small, pea-sized balls, put them at each cabinet corner, and press the speaker firmly onto the stand. The speaker is now semi-fixed, resonance is repressed slightly, and everything can even be removed later if you need to.
