Mahwah, N.J. - Marantz is hosting a national rep meeting here today to launch what it called its biggest product introduction in 10 years, then in a departure from past practice, will bring the products on tour around the country to show them first-hand to dealers.
"Given the many breakthrough features and incredible system-building potential of our new home entertainment products," said sales and marketing VP Kevin Zarow of the road show, "it is very important for us to connect directly with our valued retail partners and custom integrators to communicate the full extent of their capabilities."
The new products, whose details will be released publicly in late June or early July, will include new two-channel audio components, network-capable A/V receivers, universal Blu-ray players and high-end audio separates. The new line, he said, "has solutions for virtually every consumer need and budget."
On June 10, Marantz will invite local dealers to its Mahwah headquarters for a look, and then head out to five more cities through July 7 to introduce the products to more dealers and custom integrators. The schedule includes Mahwah on June 10; Denver on June 15; Dallas on June 17; Long Beach, Calif., on June 22; Orlando on June 24; and Chicago on July 7.
