Ik heb verder toelichting gevraagd hoe ze aan dat zogenaamde LFE signaal komen, en ze blijven vaag...
LFE is a seperate channel for multichannel codec (e.g. AC3), only for the low frequencies
- We use the same wording for 2 channel signals, even this is different of course. What we do here, is only separating the low frequency part of a Stereo Signal and direct these to the subwoofer. By definition, this is not an LFE signal (even we name it so)

Ik snap dit maar al te goed, maar ze zeggen niet wat er gebruikt wordt om dat lage frequentie gedeelte te bekomen gezien er geen crossover is ingesteld nog een low-pass filter point.

Vroeger kwamen de baby's van ooievaar

We hoeven niet alles te weten

Net dit antwoord van Marantz, waarvan ik niet weet of ik het begrijp... al vermoed ik net dat het Marantz is die het niet snapt.

Thanks for getting in touch. The LFE channel is a mono signal and is already filtered before the signal is sent to the subwoofer. This has to do with what the crossover frequency is set to. By default it is set to 80hz because this works best with most speakers. However, we recommend using LFE + main. LFE+MAIN allows the LFE and the low frequencies from all speaker channels to be output to the subwoofer. You would normally choose this setting when decoding PCM based audio or playing back from an analog source.

If you wish not to always send signals to the subwoofer and continue to use the LFE, we recommend setting the crossover frequency lower to, say, 40 Hz.
