Otaka is jarenlang de chef-dirigent van dit orkest geweest en keert nu regelmatig als gast-dirigent terug op de bok. Het orkest heette ten tijde van deze opnames officieel 'BBC Welsh Symphony Orchestra', maar ik heb de huidige naam gebruikt, wat wel gebruikelijk is.

Deze live set gehoord geluid was perfect afgesteld in die discotheek ( Pacha Salou ) is een ovaal en heel hoog gebouw ,ging wel zo gruwelijk hard toen  en wat een geluidsdruk was er  maar niet onaangenaam
