Dit is de mail over de update mbt de SR8002 die ik van Marantz heb gekregen. Kosten zijn 50 euro overigens.
De problemen die zijn opgelost middels verschillende firmware updates:
* The HDCD indicator will not light up when the unit is switched from the function of playing HD-Audio (eg DTS-Master Audio) via HDMI to that of playing HDCD input via SPDIF.
* On SR7002N and SR8002N, the "#" character used for RDS will turn into "II".
* When the HDMI connector is slowly inserted with the projector made by Epson etc. , HDMI might not be linked
*The unit sometimes fails to output audio properly while playing PCM192K.
* When the Audyssey measures an environment wherein the distance between the speaker and the microphone is over 9.15m, the unit may not display the measuring results in normal figures.
* The mute timing is readjusted so as not to create pop noise.
* When the unit is connected to a TrueHD source via HDMI, the connection may fail, resulting in no audio coming out.
* When in ZONE STANDBY, the unit cannot accept some particular remote-control commands used for XM tuners via RC232C.
* When connected with an SACD/DVD Audio player with LIP SYNC set at DISABLE, noise comes out of the AMP depending what TV is connected.
* The SW LEVEL drops when the ACCOUSTIC EQ MODE is switched ON.
* When the product is playing back Dolby TrueHD/dts-HD Master Audio, the audio becomes choppy or noisy at intervals of a few minutes to more. (This problem occurs only when the product is connected to a Bul-ray/HD DVD Player via HDMI, with the player outputting TrueHD/Master Audio Bitstream and the TrueHD/Master Audio decoded in the SR; it never occurs when the audio is decoded in the Player and sent via HDMI in multichannel PCM. It never occurs to the Dolby Digital Plus/dts-HD High Resolution Audio.)
* When the audio signal is changed from Analog Component (720p, 1080i) to HDMI, vertical fringes appear on the left side of the TV screen.
* When the audio signal is changed from Analog Component (480p) to HDMI, vertical fringes appear on the left side of the TV screen.
