I've bought a marantz 1300Dc on markplaats.
This is the catalog photo.
mine has been build in 1977 in december.
When i got it some knobs where not orginal. One channel didn't work and i heard a humming sound(bad capacitors)
The front was in pretty good state. I also bought a marantz 2110 tuner. this one has a scope problem.
I totally replaced all the caps (except for the power supply board and the main amplifiers i;m doing that tomorrow)
I don't have all the parts now.
well here are the pictures.
old
burned transistors (have been replaced) and old capacitors (replaced too).
thank god no one sprayed contact into these particular switches.
new new
cleaned it
this is pre amplifier, i've replaced all the caps ( not on this picture)
panasonic FM
this machines is NOT very easy to service..
wires, no space, prints, cats ,
what was marantz thinking when they decided to build this machine...
Ooh a tip for owners of the
marantz 1122,1152,1180,1300,170,300,3250(b),3650,
:RECEIVERS:ending with B (2238B, 2330B)
I would really recommend looking for bad spots of Tin (Sn) and refurbishing it.
there are a lot of bad spots in this amplifier.
power supply, i will do that tomorrow.
relay board, did that today.
Well and here is the end result...
sounding fantastic and looking as the toughest amplifier ever.
This amplifier sould give me 2x190watts minimum at an eight ohm load.
With a dual power supply, and 4x80v 10.000uF
hope you like it, will be posting the amps tomorrow .
