Klopt!

Kwam het volgende tegen op internet:
CiteerThis is a fantastic sounding receiver from the mid-nineties with an awesome build quality whose weight of 15.5KG unpacked says it all. The preamp section has the usual Dolby Prologic with various DSP modes, as well as a great phono stage and an awesome tuner section. The tuner on this receiver is so good, I have used it as just a stand-alone tuner for a while!

However, where this amp really excels is as a power amplifier and most of the weight is based on the massive power supply as can be seen in the photos. It has 5 MAIN IN RCA sockets (see photo) that are connected via metal ring adaptors (which I have, but are not in the photo) which completely bypass the preamp and plug directly into the power amp section. The power ratings are: 100 W per channel in the front, 70 W center channel and 30 W rear channels. I have used this as a 3 channel power amp for the last couple of years and it has worked fabulously with plenty of grunt and a very detailed and smooth sound that is typical of Marantz. It has been used to power the fronts and the center, the rears and the center, all 5 speakers and just the 2 fronts. The sound quality is very comparable to a 3 channel power amp e.g Rotel, Nad. but at a fraction of the price! I have now downgraded from a pre/power to a one box solution as we have moved to a smaller house.

This is an easy way to upgrade current home theatre amps by augmenting them with a power amp to for example, run the fronts and center or rears and center or any combination. Doing this takes a massive load of the multi-channel amplifier (which runs from only one power supply!) in your home theatre amp and provides more power room and headroom for a wider more detailed sound field. OR It is also a ridiculously cheap entry into home theatre as you can plug a DVD player with 5.1 channel output directly into it. As this is through the ?main in? sockets, the DVD player must have a volume control (a lot do) in it.

The unit is in excellent condition as can be seen from the photos. Note: the marks you can see on the back are from stickers that I have peeled of where the previous owner had labeled everything (again!). The learning and programmable remote control supplied with it is functional, and yes that is some kind of nasty burn mark (again, the previous owner) however, it does not interfere with the functionality of the remote whatsoever. I do not have the original instructions, but I do have a photocopy of the Sr-92 instructions which covers just about all of the functions of the sr-82 (including setting clock etc). The operation is very straight forward.

-The amplifiers use discrete bipolar transistors to maintain low distortion to achieve incredible power bandwidth

-Unit was designed to maximize sound quality for audiophiles as well as home theatre enthusiasts

-Front panel is black anodized aluminum and the complete unit is encased in metal to minimize RF interference and maximize signal to noise ratio

-Unit has outputs for 2 sets of speakers (A & B) for the front

-THD of 0.09% (Front Speakers) and Signal to Noise is 82 dB

-Dimensions: 45.4 x 14.6 x 38 cm

Jazeker
